Accessibility statement

Last updated 14 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use Uplifting News. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Every page is plain HTML with no scripts, so it works with a keyboard, screen readers and text-only browsers.
  • Pages are built with headings, landmarks and labels, and a “skip to content” link.
  • Text scales with your browser’s text size and zoom settings, and the layout fits narrow screens.
  • The site follows your device’s light or dark setting.
  • Keyboard focus is clearly shown, and colour is never the only way information is shown: every topic carries a word.

Known limitations

  • Headlines are written by their publishers, and the articles they link to are on websites we do not control. We cannot fix accessibility problems on those pages.
  • Not every page has yet been checked by hand in light mode or at every screen width.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@mwgtechnologies.co.uk and tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 10 working days.

How we test

Every page is checked automatically as valid HTML on each proposed change to the site. This statement was last reviewed on 14 October 2026.
