About
Uplifting News is one page of good news from across the UK: nature recovering, science and health moving forward, and communities doing well.
How stories are chosen
Stories come from the public feeds of the publishers on the sources page. Those feeds are already about positive subjects. A keyword filter then drops headlines that are clearly not good news. Headlines from general news feeds are also judged by an AI model against a written rubric, and only those it finds to be good news about the UK are listed. Nobody rewrites a headline or adds comment to it.
Where the stories live
Every headline links to the publisher who reported it, and that is where you read the story. A short summary appears only where the publisher's licence allows it.
